Our Odyssey is seeking volunteer board members

Our Odyssey, co-founded in 2019 by patient advocate Seth Rotberg, provides social and emotional support for young adults impacted by rare and chronic health conditions. Focusing exclusively on the unmet needs of these young adults, ages 18-35, Our Odyssey creates community through virtual and in-person meet-ups and topic-specific speaker series and workshops.  Our Odyssey provides a platform for young adults who may be experiencing isolation due to a rare or chronic diagnosis to connect to community, empower each other, learn from one another and build networks with people who, simply, “get it.”

Our Odyssey, a national non-profit organization, is seeking board members from any location in the United States, to support an exciting growth phase in the organization.  Our Odyssey Board members are driven by the organization’s mission and uphold the values of collaboration, empowerment, inclusivity, hope, and belonging.  Board members serve 2 year terms and duties include organizational planning, fiduciary responsibility and fund development.

Our Odyssey is made stronger by diverse viewpoints and lived experiences.  We enthusiastically welcome the unique contributions of each individual, informed by their culture, ethnicity, race, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, nation of origin, age, veteran’s status, religion, and/or disability or diagnosis.

We’d love to hear from you.  Tell us a little about you and your interest in joining the Our Odyssey community here!
