Our Odyssey - Overview and Mission

Our Odyssey is a nonprofit organization, created in June 2019 by young adults who spent years searching for empowerment, belonging, inclusivity, connection, and hope. These values drive our approach and mission in connecting young adults (18-35) impacted by a rare or chronic condition with social and emotional support in the hope of improving their quality of life.

Today, Our Odyssey creates a space for community members to connect, learn, and build a network of support through a variety of programming options.

Our Odyssey is seeking a Moderator for one of these programming options: “Virtual Meet-ups.” These online (zoom) meetings are a space for young adults to connect, learn, and build a network of social and emotional support with people who simply get it. These Meet-ups provide a reminder that no young adult should feel isolated and that we are all in this together.
